    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Don't take geology unless you need it specifically for your degree. It's very specific information and can get overwhelming.

    Course highlights:

It was cool to do hands on labs and be able to identify the rocks in real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the readings and SHOW UP TO LAB. Office hours held by TAs are really helpful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is taught by two professors, and sometimes they aren't on the same page on how the class moves. Also, the class can be very boring sometimes, however, some topics can be very interesting and the professors show passion for their work

    Course highlights:

I thought the best parts were the beginning of the universe, fossils, and earth magnetism and plate tectonics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to keep up with the professor, and don't fall behind on notes
