    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Panero makes the class interesting by bringing in his outside knowledge and fun facts to aid the biology lessons we are learning. The tests can be a bit challenging compared to the rest of the class, but he provides study resources and helpful quizzes throughout the semester. Make sure you go to lectures because often there are specific questions from them and that's when he administers the quizzes. It also helps if you've taken ap bio beforehand.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the importance of biodiversity in everything from drugs to agriculture to our environment. It made me more aware of our destructive and unhealthy practices and made me want to help change our environment. I loved his extra fun facts that he told us especially cause they related to what we were learning in class. Oh and there was no final.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's not a blow off but the professor is fun and an A is definitely achievable. It is more helpful if you've taken ap bio beforehand and have a solid background in biology.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not hard material, but the tests were always tricky. Dr. Panero was strict but very passionate about plants and biology. Sarah Cusser, the TA, was a great help!

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot I had already learned in high school biology just more in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture! He gives so much extra credit, you can fail all the exams and still pass the class with all the extra credit and discussion attendance.
