    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Very fun and simple. You can learn a lot about Chinese history and culture.

    Course highlights:

    Dr. Lai is Chinese and gives lots of good insight to Chinese customs and culture. You feel prepared to go to China after taking this course.

    Advice for students:

    Do he readings and take good notes, because you can use them on the test.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Easy and interesting course taught by Dr. Lai, who is Chinese herself and gives great insights to the culture. Very few readings, easy grading, and a fun way to get your Global Cultures flag.

    Course highlights:

    Picked up a lot of important aspects of Chinese customs and culture, including some interesting insights into the current political situation. Also great for history buffs who want to learn about the many dynasties.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready to participate and talk in class. Take good notes; quizzes and tests are open-note.
