Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a fascinating course for those interests in the identification and diagnosis of psychological and personality disorders, as well as those generally drawn to the topic of abnormal psychology and pathology.

    Course highlights:

I loved Dr. Bradbury's personal touches in the course and how she always found ways to relate the focus topics to real life examples that brought a whole new dimension to learning beyond studying textbook definitions. Her layout for the course did a wonderful job on touching on many major psychological disorders, while also instilling useful tips on how to best deal with such disorders in real-life settings. Dr. Bradbury also notably imparted some great tips and information on exercises that can help one maintain a healthy state of mind amidst the difficulties one may face in their own life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the lectures when possible, learn to get to the main points of research articles quickly, study questions on past quizzes that you may have missed, and be honest about any concerns or questions you may have about the material or the course in general!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very sweet and clearly knows what she is talking about. Lectures are online and benchmarks are easy.

    Course highlights:

The assignments were not too time-consuming, the subject was fascinating. For psychology majors this is a great overview of disorders of all types.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is one of the easier upper division Psych courses but it is also very interesting. Even though it might be tempting to not pay attention, you should in order to take full advantage of the material.
