    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was easily one of the most difficult courses I took at UT. However, it was well worth it! I learned so much about sensory input and processes, which further enhanced my desire to learn more about the human brain. It requires a LOT of studying, but if you do it, you won't regret it!

    Course highlights:

We spent the majority of the time learning about sight; how eyes work, rods, cones, the whole picture. We spent less time on sound, olfactory, taste, and touch but all the information was super relevant.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY!!!! Make flash cards and really know your stuff. Her questions weren't super tricky, but were definitely detailed so make sure you know all the nitty gritty details of the systems.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course with Dr. Dominguez as he is a very knowledgable professor who is very passionate about the subject. His tests are straightforward but there's a lot of information. You should be able to make a good grade A/B if you go to class, pay attention to the documentaries, and read the book.

    Course highlights:

This class was a lot of work but it was very interesting. I learned a lot about how my brain works and the neurological reasoning behind certain behaviors. My favorite part was learning about the psychological disorders and how to treat them. It kinda spooked me when I was learning about all these things at night, but it was definitely very interesting. Definitely take the class to learn a great deal about the brain and behavior. But if you're looking for an easier GPA booster, this may not be it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a heavy neuroscience class. If you don't have a strong background in neuroscience, this will require a lot of work. Make sure you read the book, go to class, and study lecture notes.
