    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you introduction to object oriented programming using Python. I liked this course because it teaches the basics of the language while preparing you to learn other programming languages.

    Course highlights:

You learn for loops, while loops, and how to define functions. You learn how to create objects and use them to create modular programs for future use.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course makes you look at whether or not you are interested in programming. If not it will weed you out, which is good for an introduction course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This introduction course focuses on python and basic programming, and Tuttle is a great professor!

    Course highlights:

You can't do anything too impressive with what you learn, but it is the foundation for what you need to learn in the future.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you haven't coded before you will be fine, but doing Code Academy can help out.
