    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Lots of brute memorization, but go to discussion sessions and stay on top of things and you'll be ok. Pay attention to what the professor says that isn't on the notes.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about bacterial processes in relation to current research. She often integrates newly published research for context as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on iclicker questions, go to discussion, record her lectures and download her powerpoints

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class isn't too hard. If you study all the powerpoints in detail you can do well on the exams. Attending class isn't necessary but it can help.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about bacteria and viruses. Walker also likes to bring outside information to the class with news articles and statistics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to start studying early. There's a lot of info covered on the slides. Also walker requires you to memorize bacteria names and the chemical structures.
