Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would absolutely recommend this course. Dr. Stoff is engaging, helpful, and an amazing professor and lecturer. While this course is required for Core university requirements, it truly has been my favorite class of my college career.
This class focused on America after the reconstruction period. We spent the first third of the course talking about organization in the wake of chaos, and the widespread period of industrialization, urbanization, and immigration, as well as the effects that these three had on America. We then moved on to the progressive era and the model presidents of this time period. We discussed World War I, the causes and effects of the Great Depression, and WWII on the American homefront.

Advice for students:
Be prepared to do the readings and attend study sessions. Do your best to attend as many of the classes as possible as it is extremely fast paced and is lecture based. Be prepared to take A LOT of notes.
