Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Sata is such a funny guy! Lectures are very note heavy but the material is displayed in a way that is very easy to follow. Exams were fairly knowledge based

    Course highlights:

The TA's do a lot of the grading. Depending on the TA you may have a few hints thrown your way about the exam before you take it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use Squarecap as a study tool. Always do the practice exam before, they are essentially the same

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, as it has been my favorite thus far in my college career. Professor Satasivan wrote his own book that he taught out of, making the class seem more fluid. He explained the concepts of the course very well and I was able to understand the information and put it to use in my other Biology classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were a great professor and great teaching assistant. That combined with an easy to understand book made the class not only bearable but interesting. I would highly recommend this class/teacher combination as the best.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you need to show up, participate in discussion, and complete the daily activities that the teacher provides. He mostly tests on the information in his book, which is short, concise, and to the point. If you are able to understand his information, you will do great.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is easy-going and really cares about his students, and their overall performance in the course.

    Course highlights:

This course encouraged me to continue as a biology major. The tests were fair in the sense that they were not difficult at all if you studied for them. The teacher also curves at the end of the semester, and there is plenty of opportunity to earn extra points!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to always do their best in class, and make sure to study the professor's notes and his sample questions because they appear frequently on the test.
