    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Junker did an amazing job of making sure all the students were prepared for the future jobs they could expect to hold in PR. The assignments were fun and not too strenuous, and there was always great feedback on what could be improved.

    Course highlights:

I was able to improve my writing with tips that emphasized what I already knew but tended to forget, such as the 5 W's of a good news story. I also was able to participate in a staged press conference and write a feature story, two really fun and exciting assignments that helped show my talent.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask for help, and stay up to date on current events for those pop quizzes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class really helped me improve my writing skills! Junker is super informative in class but you really need to make sure you go to office hours. The TA usually grades the assignments so it's good to have her look it over at least once before you submit anything.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to draft news releases, edit in AP style, and write a blog posts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The AP style quizzes are a big part of your grade so really make sure to study that!
