Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Really loved this foundations course. Dr. Colgin made the course very relatable and connected it to current studies in neuroscience.

    Course highlights:

Reviewing research papers! Good exposure for aspiring researchers or pre-med students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review your notes every day and don't wait until the last minute. There is a lot of detailed information tag you will need to memorize.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the professor is very well-informed on the subject, and is passionate about her students' success. As long as you pay attention in lecture and learn the the material on the lecture slides, you can do well in the course.

    Course highlights:

There's only a few homework assignments, 2 midterms, and a final so it's not heavy on the workload. You learn about the brain's development, structures and its related functions, and spend a few weeks learning the underlying mechanisms of drug addiction.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours if you need clarification, attend lecture even though your grade is not attendance-based, and make sure you know the material thoroughly, as the first few weeks have dense biology material.
