On campus, I have never heard of people going to jail for drinking or any extreme cases like that. Again, Austin is fairly liberal about that.There are so many students that you cannot just pinpoint one kind of look.
You have to find what you like and who else likes it as well. The relationships here are good. People are open and friendly (I think because of our Southern Hospitality). They can be very helpful at times if you are open to it.

The curriculum can be challenging depending on the professor but it's well worth it. Each school has their own kind of workload so it's hard to say how it is overall. I know for the Psychology program that it can seem overwhelming but the faculty is right there to help you along with the process.
