    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Definitely a very thorough look into the cellular mechanisms behind common neurobiological diseases. A very difficult class for me, as the amount of information and details covered was very vast. However, I did learn a lot as to the current research in the field.

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot about the specific brain areas involved in certain pathologies, at a level of complexity that was very appreciated. If the basics of the field's understanding in different areas are not covered, then one cannot hope to have new ideas of ways for young future neuroscientists to come up with novel solutions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the course material each week. Use fill-in-the-blank study sheets or flash cards, as that is the format of the tests.
