    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Would not recommend at all until you have taken ERG 100 and possibly some other type of advanced climate dynamic class. I am doing well in the class ONLY because I have a strong foundation already in these topics. The class is confusing and too broad. Topics that take a regular advanced science class 3 weeks to learn is one lecture of this class. This is a great class for those who are ALREADY KNOWLEDGABLE on climate dynamic topics.

    Course highlights:

-Radiative Forcing - Box Models -Probability - Alkalinity Equations - Air Pollution Modeling

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class junior or senior year, have a strong foundation first.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Best class at Berkeley. Hard, but worth it. Quantitative basis, but it made me appreciate physics, math, and its synthesis with human life.

    Course highlights:

I regained an appreciation of physics, biology, and energy that I had previously lost.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

go to OH every week and do the problem sets mostly by yourself.
