    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very dry course but if you are interested in California's past this would be a lot of fun to take.

    Course highlights:

Professor Lightfoot's stories were the best part of the lecture.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it unless you are passionate about it otherwise you will get bored.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are looking for an enriching course that relates the past to real world issues today. This course doesn't merely educate on the practice of archaeology, but rather opens the door to the study of humans, their cultures, and the distinct ways in which these cultures differ throughout time. It is a truly fascinating class.

    Course highlights:

There were many guest speakers that were brought in, making the experience of the class that much more appealing and diverse. I learned to not only appreciate different cultures and appreciate archaeology as a field, but also to see the beauty in the little things left behind by humanity and the profound impacts these objects have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the readings and keep up with projects. The projects and readings can be fun, but they require a certain level of comprehension to really have their full impact.
