Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thoroughly enjoyed this course because we had the chance to be taught by three professors. Each were experts in there own specific field in biology, and it was so wonderful to see them express passion that they had for the subject when teaching me.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the many different life cycles that different plants go through, and I learned about how the theory of evolution has affected the development of many different fields of science.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read the material prior to going to lecture, but that goes for most classes. Also, go to office hours, they are often able to explain things in much more detail than in the 50 minutes that you have in lecture with 300 other people.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Interesting course that's required for many upperdivision courses

Many of the principles of ecology taught in this course are still relevant in the upper division courses I've taken since

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize everything on the study guides and you'll be fine

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To be fair, he sometimes had good explanations about his lecture slides but the majority of the time he just told dumb jokes.

    Course highlights:

Do not expect an A in his class because for the most part but his tests are conceptual and hard.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Not an easy and he isn't very helpful outside of class either.
