Pretty easy, overall.
The Professor was an excellent resource and really knew how to get participation in lecture, something which is often not the case at Berkeley. It's important to at least skim the readings (ideally you'd have read them) before lecture so you can participate, and understand what's being discussed in class.
This class was very interdisciplinary. Because the topic is globalization, we did readings from a variety of fields, including anthropology, geography, sociology, etc.

Advice for students:
This class is pretty easy as long as you attend lecture and discussion, and do the readings. Honestly, by the end of the semester, you realize which readings you can kind of skim and which ones it's important to pay extra attentions too. As long as you do the work though, there's no curveballs. Overall, a great class, and you'll learn a lot about the world! I highly recommend it :)
