Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Holston’s lectures were engaging and easy to follow. He is very knowledgeable about the topic. He is easy to approach, and going to his office hours helps you understand the readings. He answers questions clearly, and explains the readings in great detail.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the structures of early human civilization and the dynamics of social interactions. The class focused on viewing readings and events from a perspective that paid attention to American cultures and their origins.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for future students would be to attend class every day and pay attention to lectures. In order to be successful in the course, students should take proper, accurate, and detailed notes. You should also always do the readings that are assigned.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Its one of the best courses for american cultures, very easy and very interesting.

    Course highlights:

we had to write a paper at the end of the semester, where we could come up with our own prompt and we could write about anything we wanted to write and we could relate it back to our lives and personal experiences. Midterm was very easy.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you do the study guide before each midterm and final and you'll be fine. I never went to lecture, but always went to discussion. discussion is important. its about 20% of your grade and its just one hour a week.
