Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course simply because in order to become a BioE you need to take the course. There are many pros and cons to the class (thus the reason I'm giving it a 4/5 not a perfect 5/5). Firstly The professor Terry Johnson really knows his stuff and is genuinely great at public speaking. He will go through his syllabus as planned and is very coordinated with any and all thing dealing with Bio Engineering. Secondly, the class discussions are fun but mandatory for group work and grades. Finally the cons, if you think going to lecture will help you on your homework you will not be pleased because ALL the homework except one question will not be covered in lecture and it is up to you to find the answers to those questions which can be very intimidating if you are a freshmen coming straight out of high school.

    Course highlights:

You will learn the most obscure things in the class ranging from whats essential to start a business, random disney facts, and even how long it take for alcohol to leave the body entirely.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Well first off if you want to be a BioE you'll need this class. Tips: 1: Find a GOOD STUDY GROUP I cannot emphasize this enough you will rely on them until you survive the semester. 2: Do not procrastinate on the Homework even if its due every other week It will take you HOURS to complete 2 questions. 3: go to office hours of the GSI for homework help because they are the ones that grade the work! General advice: There is one group paper and it really is not the worst thing in the world because you have other people to balance the stress, pain, work, and tears that will go into the work.
