    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Sanchez wrote/co-wrote two of the required reading books for this class, he immersed himself in the field; thus, as a Sociology major it was great to learn through his experiences how field study work is very critical to sociologists.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deeper understanding of the impact of poverty on academic achievement and how poverty has a role in the illicit underground economy, I also learned about the Barrios in Los Angeles, the Car industry in Detroit, the Great Depression.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must do all the required reading!
