    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! It taught me so much about my family and myself. It will help you understand how families are affected and shaped by society. Not everything about family is due to biology. If you're interested in understanding the dynamics of family, then this is the class for you. I also recommend this class because if you do all your work and come to class, you can easily get a really good grade.

    Course highlights:

We normally do not think about how families are shaped, it's almost like a given fact that we accept. This course breaks down the dynamics of a family into generations, gender, education, privileges, time periods, history, culture, religion, and law. A family is not only shaped due to biological facts but also social structures and dynamics that we can have some control over. While the past in the past, if we understand the social structures of today, we can try and control some aspects for the generations to come.

Go to class, do all your essays, and review your work before turning it in.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am not a sociology major, but this course is definitely my one semester. The course is filled with meaningful readings, and the class assignments are not too intense. There are a lot of discussion opportunities, and any instructors are great!

    Advice for students:

If you enjoy reading, this is a good course. If you are not interested in learning about the changes in American family structure, it can be tough at the beginning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an excellent teacher. Kelsey is very interested in the material and brings the topics to life. She has many anecdotes to help you understand the concepts. Her office hours are very helpful; she really takes the time to understand where students struggle and offers the best solutions.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the sociological connections seen through the context of the family.
