They were extremely helpful when I didn't understand a concept or needed help studying for a final. Being an intended Media Studies major, I didn't have to take any lab-based classes; all of my classes were lecture and discussion based. My lecture groups ranged from 100-400 students and my discussions were typically around 20 students.
Berkeley has an incredible reputation. It is the number one public school in the nation--that is pretty much the only reason I decided to come here. We have career fairs pretty much every week and the staff at the career center is vey helpful with finding jobs and internships.

There are some issues with crime at night on campus, and as a woman I usually don't walk around campus after dark. There are also issues with sexual assault due to the high number of students binge drinking, and the campus and greek community has been actively working on opening discussion about it.
