    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Vinyasa yoga will present you an opportunity to gain power over yourself. I had felt very unmotivated and powerless to put in any effort to change: I didn't believe in my own strength to change. However, this class really gives you the chance to face your desire to give up. If you put in the effort, you will push yourself in the presence of adversity and learn to overcome your initial desires to run away from difficulty.

    Course highlights:

I learned to take a more positive attitude about myself and in life. I would come to yoga exhausted at 7am each morning and leave incredibly awake and full of energy. Yoga taught me about life: Challenging myself in yoga was challenging all areas or myself outside of yoga. Inner affects outer; how you are in the smallest details say a lot about foundational attitudes or unconscious habits. In yoga, I learned how easily I gave up when I didn't believe I could accomplish something. What does that say about my ability to accomplish my dreams? Through yoga, I fought and overcame this unconscious habit of giving up by persisting longer and longer through moments I thought were impossible to overcome. You will learn a lot about yourself through taking this course!

    Advice for students:

To succeed you have to do your best and really push your limits.
