Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Class involves a lot of reading, research papers and thoughtful discussion in class.

    Course highlights:

Great class discussions of current and past world issues that shaped politics and conflicts around the globe.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not chose to write a paper about a theory unless you are very confident on that theory. Most of the criticism from research papers was that we interpreted the theories wrong. If you do this and write your paper based on an incorrect version of theory, then you will not get a good grade. The readers are very tough in this class, so go to office hours to guarantee that you are interpretting both your theories and your application of the theories to your conflict correctly! If you ask the right questions, the readers or professor will give you the right answers.
