Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course cover some very interesting topics that you might find that they expand your knowledge. I found the perspective through which we see the material to be interesting and critical about the reading.

    Course highlights:

I learned how policies let to racially different effects on the neighborhoods in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. I learned how fire was used by Native American to control the way they hunted and how the arrival of European settlers changed this.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the readings and attend lecture. While the readings are fast paced, the professor does a great job at helping you comprehend the material and how it all ties together.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great class to take if you are interested in dealing with environment and cultures. Easy A as long as you do work and don't slack off.

    Course highlights:

The class goes in depth with the way environment affects different culture; I never expected to learn as much as I did. Interesting to hear the speakers come in as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE WORK, take notes and do well on the first MID TERM!
