    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very engaging and exciting class, Dr. Mendoza is extremely passionate about the course material!

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed looking at the Civil Rights movement through various lenses rather than the traditional lense.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend lecture and absorb the material. Also, start your research paper early so that you have plenty of time to do the research

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor has a very calming voice, but he really knows his stuff. Very informative class! Just pay attention in class and take good notes, paying special attention to any key terms he throws at you.

    Course highlights:

Our class formed a shared google doc with all the terms and essay prompts. I learned more about US History than I did in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours for the papers. GSIs can push you in the right direction. Go to lecture. Scan the readings for the main message. Memorize the dates, the authors, and the titles.
