    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if the student feels unprepared for Calc. I would also recommend for CNR and engineers depending on their major cause many must take 1A and 10A which are overall harder than the standard calculus aka 16A

    Course highlights:

Foundations of precalc and more solid foundations for calculus (Math 16A is standard calculus Math 1A is for engineers or other more STEM related fields as it is harder and overall more theoretical in concept).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use this course to refresh on Calculus skills specially if you didn't pass the ap exam. Course is definitely harder than the precalc you learned in high school if like me your teacher never finished the book.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class kickstarted my success in future math classes at the university.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course for me was actually learning from a professor that was engaged in the class and topic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention constantly and go to the professor for help when needed.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor moves incredibly quickly and at times, does not explain thoroughly or explains poorly, so if you're someone who doesn't catch on, it would be a difficult course.

    Course highlights:

Great review and introduction to basic calculus concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending lecture and discussion and doing the homework is not enough to succeed in this course. Utilizing the student learning center tutoring services, office hours, and just going over material will help you so much.
