Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

CS 10 is a great introduction to Computer Science for beginners! It helps expose students to all parts of computer science and teaches students how to think like programmers. The staff really wants you to succeed- they do everything they can to provide as many resources as possible to students.

    Course highlights:

I came into this course as a total beginner, and I came out having learned concepts including runtime, mutability, and recursion. The projects were a lot of fun, and the best part was that for the last two projects, you could choose what you wanted to do! This way, you were really getting whatever you wanted to get out of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

First of all, only take this class if you've never done computer science before. It's meant for absolute beginners. Make sure you're attentive during lab and discussion and that you always do the extra problems! Also, be sure to experiment on your own! The cool thing about computer science is that most times, you can find answers to your questions just by trying things out on your computer!
