Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Moretti is a pretty good lecturer. He is very knowledgable about the subject and teaches his course in an effective way for people with no prior background in economics. His exams are also extremely fair. Overall very great class and teacher!

    Course highlights:

Professor Moretti is great at introing a lot of the basic economic concepts. He did a particularly good job at microeconomics topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lectures if you can - i clickers are required plus the lectures are good for understanding the textbook material. Same thing with the problem sets - they are good practice for exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is pretty straightforward with a minimum amount of work. Although the required attendance in discussions (2 in a week for 1 hr each) can be bothersome if you already have a good grasp on the material, it can be useful if you need a review or clarifications.

    Course highlights:

Fundamentals of the economy. Usage of graphs and reasoning to explain how the economy works.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Knowing AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics will greatly help going into this course. It will be just a review for you if you already have taken those classes. Do your assignments and make notes of any confusions you had at the time and go over them before the midterm and the final.
