Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think every college student should take at least one psychology class in their college career. This particular course and the professor are both very insightful and interesting. Psychology teaches about how the human mind works and why we behave the way we do. Dr. Eden's provides experience and resourceful knowledge that keeps the class intrigued. I would highly recommend this course. Also, Dr. Eden's is hilarious!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human brain, memory, sleep analysis, gender and sexuality, and learning. This sections taught me how the human mind works and why we do the things we do, whether they are conscious or subconscious actions/decisions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text book, make your own notes, and GO TO CLASS.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The main reason I would not recommend this course is because in class he is very boring to listen to. He also did not explain things good enough for me, kind of like he is too smart and doesn't remember what it's like to not already know it. On the bright side, you get points just for showing up to class, and there are mini clicker quizzes almost every morning over a short part of the book. So if you just read over that section before class the next day you will get free points basically. In this course you are expected to participate in research studies outside of the classroom, or you can opt to write a research paper instead if you don't feel comfortable doing the other.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot out of the book. It was mostly teaching yourself the information and then asking questions in class. You have to make sure you read the section before the class or else you may get behind the other students who read and had a basic understanding before class started. The test questions were also very difficult for me, but other students did pretty decent.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take this psychology course you are going to have to do a lot of reading and studying, as with any course. I did not put in as many hours as I should have. Never skip class!!!! AND enjoy your time, but do not waste it. There is a difference in getting enough sleep, and sleeping through class, or sleeping the whole day away. Find a schedule that works for you and stick with it. YOU CAN DO THIS!
