    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives a basic understanding to the molecular level of biology, something all science majors will expand on later on.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about the intricate details of DNA, I had never learned about something so incredibly complex before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study more than you ever had, but studying will pay off. Read the book and ask the professor about anything you may be confused about because he will definitely expand and it will only get harder.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Rao is not an easy professor, but she definitely care about what her students learn. She will present to you the material in a way that is easy to understand, but it is up to you whether or not it sticks. This is not a course you don't study for and still pass.

    Course highlights:

I can still describe the components of nucleotides and other macromolecules. She goes into detail about ATP manufacturing processes and makes sure you understand the topics using learning catalytics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course if you want to better prepare yourself for future bio courses. Don't take this course if you want an easy A. Also, go to the supplemental instruction sessions. They saved my life and will definitely save yours.
