    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is by far the best at Texas A&M. She cares about your education and is willing to answer any questions you have.

    Course highlights:

I learned the intro to biology, from cells and DNA to mutations and protein synthesis. Wei Wan also offers extra credit, I ended up with an A in the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. This course is not joke, get a planner and plan what you are going to study and for how long.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course to those students who enjoy learning biology and have a knack for studying to retain the information. This course if very information dense and the lectures are fast pace. She wants you to know and understand the information that she teaches. If you aren't into biology and don't like to study, do not take this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were that the instructor had a sense of humor and that she is always available for office hours.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to start picking up an extensive study habit, because this course requires a lot of work if you would like to pass. Also go to A+ tutoring because it will help you pass the course.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those looking for a challenge and not an easy way out. If you want to be held to a standard and aren't afraid of some work, then Dr Rao's class is a great place to take introductory biology.

    Course highlights:

Evolution, chemical context of life, water and life, carbon and molecular diversity, structure and function of large biological molecules, membrane structure and function, metabolism, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, cell division.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class, take notes, record lectures, go to office hours!
