    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was super strict, especially for an intro class. Otherwise the content was great and the lectures were decently interesting.

    Course highlights:

Group work. There was a lot of team work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Choose a professor that's not the dean of architecture for an intro course

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It counts as a creative credit. Great if you're an engineering major. It's a great class that is a lot about self-exploration and understanding how you come up with new ideas. You'll get as much out as you put into the class. Great opportunity to be creative in theory, you don't actually have to follow through on your innovations.

    Course highlights:

It helped me understand where my creativity comes from and how I can practice thinking innovatively. I learned a lot about how to work with others and it gave me a new perspective on topics I thought I had exhausted.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Understand that it is an "Easy" course and very straight forward but you WILL need to actually do work for it. Not very hard work. But work. Every week you have to write reflections and you also get different projects you need to accomplish both individually and with groups. Expect a lot of typing. Expect to work with people that are all different years and majors, which is nice but also a bit of a challenge when you need to set up a time to meet. **Participate in class because Vanegas gives random points throughout the semester for attendance and participation and at the end it's bonus points on your final grade in the class which gives you a nice boost. Always remember that anything is better than nothing. Make sure you make the assignment deadlines because for some assignments he will not accept them late. In case you haven't noticed yet, this class is half online half live. Don't get overwhelmed by all the information online, he purposely gives you too many resources so that there's a lot to choose from. Your class meets two times a week but only one of those is in the lecture hall. The other is suppossed to be for you to meet with your group or use the time to watch the online lectures. Used that time effectively and you shouldn't have to meet with your group any other time. As for the individual assignments I amde it a routine of working on the assignments every week at the same time at the same place and it really helped me stay on track. Honestly such an easy class if you put at least some effort. Oh and READ THE SYLLABUS. Just do it. It's so helpful.
