    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for you if you are going to be an engineering student at Texas A&M. This is where you learn the foundations of the engineering course here at Texas A&M where you learn two programs - LabVIEW and Matlab - which are very difficult if you have not taken any computer science courses in high school. Other than these two programs you learn more about communications and presenting, which are a huge component not only in school, but also in the life after college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were meeting numerous people who have different points of views as you and who may become your friends for the next four years of college. Besides learning the content of this course, you also learn basic studying skills that will help for the exams to come in the next four years.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this specific course, I would use as many resources as possible. For example, I would pick the minds of your classmates, watch helpful videos, and read the textbook if given one. Also, do not be afraid to ask your professor for help.
