Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ramsey really cares for all 300 students in his classes. He will work with you to get a better grade on his tests. He might give pop quiz's but he knows that giving those will make you study more for the test which means you will do better on the test.

    Course highlights:

the highlight was when he brought his sheep in. i learned about different species of live stock that i would have never known about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be is to take it, to take the leap of faith into the livestock aspect of the major. That you would be surprised about how much you might like it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course to anyone due to the fact the information can be useful in life and the professor engages and makes his students laugh. This course provides a good foundation on basic life principles and shows how your food is treated and where it comes from when its alive.

    Course highlights:

Some of my favorite parts of the course happened when we were learning nutrition. The professor brought a video of a stomach fluid sample and played it for us. You could see the tiny microbes munching on the food while bigger bacteria just would plow through and eat the whole piece of food present. It was one of the most educating and interesting part of my college experience so far.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course I used flashcards a lot. The information is presented by the professor as a answer to his powerpoints making it simple to make out of it. Also do not study until right before, even though the information is easy to learn there is a lot and each can be species specific

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was filled with the information necessary for my future career.

    Course highlights:

Learning about things that I was not aware of was a valuable experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to get dirty and work closely with animals, especially if you do not have a lot of experience with them.
