    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because you learn so much about the laws involved among businesses. This is imperative for you to protect yourself, the business you are affiliated with, and the money and assets that are invested into that business. This course gives you examples of situations to be careful with so that you become more aware of your options. It also helps you to determine what is legal and illegal so that you can then take the correct and appropriate actions to benefit the business as a whole.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course is that everything you learn will benefit you in some way since each bit of information is extremely beneficial to your success later in your career. Every topic learned in this course helps you to become more aware of many concerns such as employer-employee relations, legal vs. illegal practices, contract requirements, and countless others. Another highlight of this course is that every lecture is online so you can listen to them as many times as you wish to gain as much of a clear understanding as you need for each topic and chapter. Another highlight of this course is that there is a study guide that comes with the textbook and the studyguide precisely follows the textbook and bullet points every topic within it. I learned within this course the laws that govern business environment. I discovered that it is extremely important to make yourself as familiar with as much of the material as possible so that you will be comfortable with the legal practices required among business members once you begin your career after graduation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is to not procrastinate studying because the exams come quick and there is a substantial amount of information expected for you to know for each exam taken in this course. I would suggest listening to each lecture and taking notes before each quiz given every week in class. I would suggest thoroughly studying the studyguide and taking particular note on the material specifically discussed in the lectures online. I would also suggest going to every single class because there is a quiz each week during class, and each lecture also reiterates and summarizes the information that is in each online lecture so this greatly helps you to retain the information.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is proven by many students to be a very difficult course. Especially for construction science majors. I ended up with a B at the very end.

    Course highlights:

I learned a TON of information about law and society which I never thought I would need to know. I found the course very interesting but the tests were difficult.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests were very hard just due to the fact the professor made the questions difficult to understand. You really need to know all the concepts throughout every chapter to succeed. The curve is REALLY nice though.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class itself is very interesting but it is also incredibly difficult and time consuming for a 200 level class. There is no way you can cram all the information for his tests the night or even two nights before. It's a ton of information so be prepared. I highly recommend using the study guide the most. I made a B with just solely memorizing it.

    Course highlights:

It gave more insight into the law and how it can easily be misused.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must study well in advance or you will fail
