    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Be prepared to work. Don't take it lightly or you will fail. Study a little bit everyday. Your brain will thank you and you won't freak out the week of tests.

    Course highlights:

You learn so much. I find the human body very interesting, so the class was great to me. Doing all of the labs and dissections on the computer now sucks, and it is easy to get distracted. There will be a few cats already dissected in the lab to look at. Take the time to look at them! Quiz yourself with pins, ask your TA to work through it with you, do anything you can to see it in person. The lab practical uses real cats, not computer printouts and they look completely different. Dr. Cohn really does a good job in lecture. He does not mind if you record his lectures. Do it; it is really helpful when studying for tests to go back and listen to the lectures. You realize how many things you missed when taking notes because there is just so much.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to prepare for tests, complete all of the review he gives you and know it forward and backward. Yes, it is long, but you will be highly thankful if you put the time into it. When they tell you to start learning the AOI's in the first week, DO IT!!!!!! There is a ton of information that seems super daunting. If you wait, you will not have enough time. You will overload your brain (remember you have to worry about lecture too and not just lab). You can make an A in lecture and still struggle to pass lab. Start studying early!!!
