Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was mandatory for me to take and I certainly dreaded it when enrolling. Dr. Bethel was a good professor with a very obvious passion for the subject. Notes consisted of powerpoint slides which are also posted online if you want to print them. Practice problems are done in class that help with understanding how to do the work.

    Course highlights:

This is a beginner class so it does not go too far in depth. This is mainly an overview of chemistry concepts that you will learn more about in the later Chem classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Begin studying for tests at least a week in advance, preferably more. Study groups are also invaluable.
