    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much about the anatomy of the human/dog. On a medical school interview, I was once given a sample anatomy quiz, and I was able to answer the quiz correctly due to this course. It is difficult, but well worth it.

    Course highlights:

I essentially learned where everything is in the canine/human body. We got to dissect a dog, which is really, really nice. Seeing where everything is in a practical sense, makes the didactic material so much easier.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study the objectives. The test questions are pulled from them. Use the lab to learn the material. Go into the lab after hours and study your dogs, and study other peoples' dogs. Find another person(s) to quiz each other over where everything is in the dog.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Herman is an amazing professor. Her students can tell that she truly care that you learn the material and have a good time learning it. I will never forget what I learned in that class because I enjoyed the course and professor so much.

    Course highlights:

I can still recall most of canine anatomy because I was genuinely interested in the material. I know that this will help me next Fall when I go to vet school since it will be fresh in my mind. I highly recommend this professor for this course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to review the material each day. Even if you only spend 30 minutes a day going over the anatomy and material, you will have a much easier time when it's time to take the exam.
