    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is challenging but very interesting course.

    Course highlights:

Petrology deals with composition, texture, and structure of the all type of rocks- igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary; you will learn where they occur, what is their origin. . Petrology includes petrography which involves the study of rocks in thin section by means of a petrographic microscope which is very interesting task to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to put a lot of effort but you will be rewarded in the end. Once you grasp the knowledge, it is very interesting course.
