    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course helps and assists in developing an appropriate research question, offers methods in constructing a research foundation using a logic model, various sampling techniques when constructing a research experiment, pre-test/post tests and examples of treatments you can use when developing your own research

    Course highlights:

I have taken research courses in the past in high school, so this class was more of a refresher course on how to conduct research in a gradate setting. We have learned about obtaining IRB approval, how to obtain more reliable samples from a population to get more accurate and representative results, correlation and causation, and applied research.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have good communication with the professor, continually talk to others in the class to get feedback on your own research. Spend plenty of time reading (and re-reading) material prescribed by the professor.
