Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would not recommend this course with this professor. Only because she was never present to class and did not explain things well.
Course highlights:
The TA's did all the teaching and they have office hours that are extremely helpful for the homework assignments.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would suggest watching all the lecture videos just so you are caught up to speed and aren't left behind.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I recommend this course because Dr. Kilmer is an amazing professor who explains content efficiently and clearly. Knowing math is a difficult area for many students, this course would be hard to maintain without Dr. Kilmer. Her techniques and notes are quite a blessing to obtain to be capable of understanding her lectures. Her tone is firm and clear when explaining steps in a complex and long math problem.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course were how easily I learned statistics. I am usually not a fantastic student in math but I did do quite well in the course and did not expect my positive outcome in the exams. I learned many different structures of statistics and learned to deal with everyday math problems that can occur in life.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
Students CANNOT miss any lecture because a student will fall behind quite easily. Practice everyday and DO the suggested homework. People say you cannot study for math but you can by practicing different problems everyday until you can do the problem without any help from someone or looking at your notes. You must be confident when doing the problems with no outside help.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
It's pretty much like an required course, you just have to do it.
Course highlights:
You will learn business math and how it applies to economics.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Study, do the quizzes, and go to tutoring. Tutoring will save you.
