    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

On one hand I would recommend it because it taught me a lot of new math. However, if you don't have to take the course, then don't.

    Course highlights:

So far I've been taught how to find the limits of different equations and how to approach such problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice, practice, practice. And ask a lot of questions.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great professor! I had to drop out of Cal in high school. When I took it with Professor Lao I passed the class with a high A!

    Course highlights:

She would always teach thoroughly and made sure everyone knew the material before moving on.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the quizzes and homeworks. You don't need to do great on the tests to pass this class. Just get good grades on your quizzes and homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only it provides a suitable learning environment for the students, but it also enhances their social and team work capabilities. The class prides itself in having team activities where students are able to express concerns to their classmates and exchange learning techniques.

    Course highlights:

The instructor had the desire of getting to know each one her students personally. She could analyze their flaws and managed to replace them with strengths. I realized that it is better to raise my hand and convey my queries than to accept that I have no doubts.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To not be afraid of failing. I would also tell them to practice in order to make perfect. Compared to classes like English, Math is much more logical. The only way to master a concept is to do all of your homework and make sure you know the topic to the point that you can explain it to anybody.
