Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is really passionate about this class, he makes the class fun and the material it’s not too overwhelming. He is very good at explaining and is open to questions at the end of each class. The assignments are pretty straight forward, he is very specific on each one and tries to be clear on what he expects you to deliver. I would totally recommend this class, it might not be an easy A, but if you are interested in learning more about U.S. history this class is a pretty good option

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class for me personally was the professor. History is a tedious class, mainly because it is part of the core curriculum and might be hard on someone who is not really interested in U.S. History. The professor is energetic, he enjoys engaging in what he is teaching and at the end of the course you end up learning more than you initially expected. He is especially passionate about racial discrimination and how Hispanics and African-Americans as well as Orientals had a tough time adapting to the U.S. I learned a lot from him and found myself enjoying this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is only one advice that works for this class. WORK. At the end of the day history is a pretty heavy class, there is a lot of material to be covered and if you don’t put effort to it you will not pass this class. The professor can be hard on those who seem to invest little to no effort in his class. He gives no extra credit, your grade is what it is and he makes that very clear from the first day. Don’t ever miss the class because he gives surprise quizzes that count as class credit and he usually gives them on days where there is a lot of people missing.

This professor makes class easy and fun to learn. His exams are pretty easy overall which makes them stress free.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that most of the grades you get in this class comes from group work. I learned to do essays with out having notes or a book to write it, these are his exams.
