    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is in and of itself a difficult course. Regardless of help from the professor, it will require much individual and group study time. The course comes with a workshop, and that is where I learned most regarding the subject material and got the most help from mentors.

    Course highlights:

The course was an advancement of Chem 1305 and went more in depth regarding reactions and calculations. A good amount of organic chemistry was covered as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the past notes/exams from previous students who have taken this course. The professor tends to reference back.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you learn so much. However, if it is not part of your degree plan then don't take it. If it is part, then take it with Dr. Becvar as he is the best professor for this course and he gives you many opportunities to raise your grade.

    Course highlights:

This is an intense course where you learn the basics of organic chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture always never skip it and pay attention in class. Also attend the practice sessions they offer before a test. Pay attention in workshop class and ask questions if you do not understand. Also get a group together to study as I found this the most useful.
