    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course not because of the course because every CS major student needs to have it, but because of the professor. He is very helpful and makes the class more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned the history of computing as well as programming in Java.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you feel like the course or even the major is not for you, do not make the same mistake I did, not asking for help. I learned the hard way and waited til finals to ask my professor for help which I regret because if I had ask before I would probably obtained a better grade.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course establishes a good foundation into programming. Not only do you learn Java, but you also see different programming languages in this course.

    Course highlights:

So far I have learned the basics of programming in Java, and see the comparison with Java to other programming languages.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The class isn't easy, and will require a lot of practice and critical thinking. Practice is the main key for this course, and be passionate in this subject, accept the mistakes you make during the course and learn from it.
