    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a course that gets you acquainted with university and campus life. It integrates you to their overall specialty - which is engineering.

    Course highlights:

How to be a college student at UTEP - and since my major is in Engineering it's best to learn about the College of Engineering, its courses, and how you could succeed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to just take this course if you want to learn the campus and everything about it. Also, it's mandatory.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because of the nature of it. It's a course designed to teach you how to take a college class and it functions as a college class in its difficulty and its overall execution of education.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to study and what my teachers were searching for in a student. This made my subsequent classes much easier to function in

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't underestimate it. Courses like this is high school would have you believe that you're going to sit in the class for an hour pretending to be studying, but this is very much not one of those classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Loved her class and would take it again and again. Dr. Wilson-James is very motivating with her instruction and the knowledge of the course is encouraging. She is absolute a wonderful professor. She listens to you and you are in good hands with her. She does love her students and cares for them. Very compassionate.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be accepting of myself and love education even at my age. I learned confidence and learned to prioritize my study habits

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn a lot and have fun while doing it. Learning is fun and knowledge is power
