This class was tough.
I would recommend this class. It was very informative about the heart and how to read EKGs. The book is very thorough but easy to follow along. The professor was very intelligent and knew how to connect to the students.
I am interested in physical therapy and this opened the doors for cardiac rehabilitation. The labs and hands on education were the best part. We learned how to attach leads, read EKGs, and manually take blood pressure all while a person is working out. We also learned how to identify the location of a myocardial infarction using a 12 lead ECG.

Advice for students:
I had the regular text book and a review text book that summarized all the chapters. I read the necessary chapters for the course and before class, I would read the summary to make sure I had everything down. I would advice thoroughly understanding the different heart rhythms and knowing how to properly read an EKG. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
