Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course deconstructs and analyzes American society in order for students to become critical thinkers about current issues it faces. It is a highly interactive course with interesting reading materials required. Dr. Murga is very open to discussions and allows an atmosphere of no judgement to develop in the classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned about several problems American society faces including race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, and poverty.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course, you will not regret it! Read the required materials (they are not extremely complicated and tend to be very interesting) and participate in class.
