    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is hard. I wouldn't recommend taking Dr. Beran's course unless you're majoring in something like geology or chemistry. This class had 4 tests and homework done online. These tests are NOT easy. You really need to study for them. When he tells you to memorize something, you better memorize it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be that Dr. Beran didn't discourage questions. He will stop lecture to answer you so don't be afraid to ask. I've learned to sit at the front of his classes just so you can take better notes, you can hear him better, and it's a whole lot easier to askip questions. I've pretty much learned a lot of equations and chemical compounds. Mostly everything is memorization.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize, memorize, memorize, and memorize. This course is mostly memorization. Actually study for the tests. They just get harder as you progress through the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Dr. Be ran as a teacher because, he is a great teacher and the fact that he has mandatory study hall is great!

    Course highlights:

I finally was able to memorize the periodic table, conversions, and how to actually solve the problems.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, sit as close as possible, take GREAT notes, find a study group, ask questions, and you MUST read the text book!
